MCO Project 2.1 - Masks and hand sanitizer for needy students
LCIH presented 500 mask and 4 liters of sanitizer to the following schools in aid of its needy students.:-
1. Anderson School Ipoh; and
2. Idris Shah Secondary School Gopeng.

MCO Project
As from 11th March 2020, LCIH did not carry out any projects until 6th June 2020.
LCIH visited 8 deserving families in the Klebang area (an area familiar to K) and distributed food rations to them.
Due to social distancing, only 3 Lions attended the project and they all drove their own car there.

Lion Foo Hon Lim Top Leo Academic Award
Leos were invited to apply for the Lion Foo Hon Lim Top Leo Academic Award in February and by Mac all the applications were received.
After processing them, 15 Leos with 10A’s were selected to receive the awards.
With Movement Control Order (MCO) in place, LCIH contacted the Leos by email to see whether they would accept the award. All confirmed.
Thereafter individual certificates were prepared and emailed to the successful Leos.
All they needed to do was to download the certificate and thereafter take a photo of them holding the certificate.
Once that was done, they were all requested to forward their bank details and LCIH banked in the cash award on 4th June, 2020 to them.

Soup Kitchen (Relieving the Hunger Project)

This is will our last soup kitchen for sometime. Due to the Covid-19 we have decided to stop our soup kitchen based on the instructions of the Registrar of Societies Malaysia.
We are even postponing our regular meetings.
The Leo Club of Anderson School Ipoh is celebrating its 50th Anniversary this year. We had plan to hold it in April but with the COVID-19 on, we have postponed it to June.
If any of our followers wish to send a congratulatory message (preferably with photo and your country) to them, please do so and we shall publish it in their 50th Anniversary souvenir magazine.
We hope youall can respond on or before 31st March 2020.

Meeting with Leos, Leo Advisors, Leo Teacher/Faculty Advisors and Lions
Held at SMK Buntong.
Representatives from all seven (7) Leo Club under LCIH attended the dialog together with their Leo Teacher/Faculty Advisor.
The dialogue was to discuss activities, projects and other matters related to the Leo clubs and the school protocol.

Sight First Project at SK Guru Kalgidhar
The Lions Club of Ipoh Host carried out an eye check-up on 75 students of SK Guru Kalgidhar.
The KOC Optometry Centre was on hand to assist the Lions in this project.

Donation of RM1,800.00 to needy student Nancy Sharwin Sebastian who is pursuing her studies in Bachelor of Computer Science and Information Technology at Universiti Malaya.
Chinese New Year Celebration
LCIH together with Lioness Club of Ipoh organized a Chinese New Year celebration for the children of Pertubuhan Kebajikan Kanak-Kanak Cacat Setia, Silibin.
LCIH treated the children with McDonald’s burgers and drinks and porridge.
LCIH also donated packets of rice, food rations and pampers to the home.
