In conjunction with the X'mas celebration, LCIH, Lioness Club of Ipoh and Leo Club of Ave Maria Convent organised a movie day for children from Persatuan Yi Shan and Praise Home Ipoh at AEON Big Falim.
During the movie Frozen 2, the children were treated to popcorn and drinks. After the movie the children were given Marrybrown burgers and presents to take home.
Good for the kids. Hope they are having fun.
ReplyDeleteYes there were Jenn.
DeleteWhen i was young i love movie day when festivities season. But as i grow up, i realise movie day is actual a lonely day. Haha
ReplyDeleteLooks like you need to go back to your childhood days Mark. Haha.
DeleteIs Friday 13 holiday in Malaysia?
ReplyDeleteNo it was not Sam, but it is the school holidays now up to 2nd January, 2020.
DeleteHaha. Not really want to. Being living in orphanage house is really heartbreaking especially when some family come to celebrate their kids birthday with us. At that moment you can see those kids smiling happily but at night we actually cry because we wish that our family will celebrate our birthday too. But people outside they didn't understand us, they thought we are really happy. It is the most heartbreaking memories i ever had .
ReplyDeleteIts very kind of you to share your experience with us Mark.
DeleteIt is an insight that all of us whether young or old will learn from you.
For that thank you very much.
Great project as always!
ReplyDeleteMark, i also didnt know that. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks a lot A.
DeleteHopefully they enjoy themself that day.
ReplyDeleteI do agree with Mark. Sometime the visitors/guests they only listen to the caretakers wish, not the children. Even we are only children at that time, we also have hearts.
We hope so too Neeta, and all have learnt a lot from Mark.
DeleteWow its kind of something new to me too. Thank you for the insight.
ReplyDeleteI learnt a lot from interaction in this blog. Very fascinating. Keep it up Admin.
